Expert speech therapy for people living with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions.
To help adults living with neurological conditions—especially Parkinson’s disease—regain and maintain their ability to speak, swallow, and communicate with strength, clarity, and confidence for as long as possible.
We believe that your voice is more than a tool—it’s your identity, your connection to the world, and your right.
Our mission
Restore Speech Pathology was founded by Verity McIntosh, a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, with a simple belief: people living with neurological challenges deserve care that is respectful, personal, and deeply human. What began as one clinician’s commitment to truly listening and walking alongside her clients and their families has grown into a practice centred on compassion, trust and meaningful connection.
After working across both hospital and community settings, Verity saw the need for a dedicated space that offers focused, evidence-based care for adults with Parkinson’s and related conditions.
At Restore we offer therapy in a calm, welcoming environment where people feel heard, respected and supported.
Our Story
Our Values
-
We don’t try to be everything to everyone. We focus entirely on adult neurological speech therapy—and we do it exceptionally well.
-
Therapy is not something we do to you, it’s something we do with you. We collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure you achieve the best outcomes possible.
-
We meet you where you are—physically, emotionally, and cognitively—with dignity and compassion.
-
Our approaches are grounded in the latest neuroscience, speech pathology research, and clinical best practices.
