Verity McIntosh

Director & Senior Speech Pathologist, CPSP MSPA

Verity is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with over 12 years’ experience supporting adults with communication and swallowing difficulties associated with neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and other neurodegenerative disorders. She brings extensive clinical expertise and a compassionate, person-centred approach to every stage of care.

Her professional background spans acute hospital, rehabilitation, community, and private practice settings, including her role as Senior Speech Pathologist on the Stroke and Neurology Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Through this experience, Verity has developed expert skills in the assessment and management of complex neurological presentations.

As a certified SPEAK OUT!® and LSVT LOUD® provider, Verity is committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development. She works collaboratively with clients and their families to develop practical, meaningful strategies that support communication, confidence, independence, and quality of life.

Verity is passionate about empowering people living with neurological conditions to achieve their goals and participate fully in the activities that matter most to them.

Gabriela Gervasi

Senior Speech Pathologist, CPSP MSPA

Gabriela is a Speech Pathologist with 10 years’ experience supporting adults with communication and swallowing challenges and brings both expertise and genuine care to every client interaction.  

Her clinical background includes extensive work across leading South Australian hospitals, including Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and Flinders Medical Centre, where she has developed strong skills in managing complex cases.  

Gabriela has a strong clinical interest in neurological conditions and is committed to helping clients and their families navigate the communication and swallowing changes that can arise with these conditions. 

Gabi’s therapy style is collaborative and person-centred—she believes the best outcomes come from working together to create meaningful, achievable solutions that support independence, dignity, and quality of life. 

Gabi is passionate about empowering the people she works with to live their best lives, on their own terms.

Administration

Lexie is the friendly first point of contact for our clinic, with over 10 years of experience working within speech pathology. She brings a kind, compassionate understanding of the challenges people may be facing and is dedicated to making every client feel welcomed, supported, and at ease.

From coordinating appointments to answering questions, she aims to ensure each client’s experience is smooth, respectful, and stress-free from the very beginning.
